Platypus of Truth

I've been watching Paramount's hilarious send up of all things Sword and Sorcery: Golden Axe. Those rideable beasts were the best part of that Sega series, so I gave a couple of inspired mounts to our rogue and sorceress duo in last picture here. Not to be left out are Aeschylus' Furies, inspired by Apulian Greek dramatic pottery (yes, reading Taplin's book on that). Then we have a random opportunity to draw another New England grave stone. I like the little ghost flying up from it. There's something Blake about it.

What scares you? I've been studying horror art on YouTube. Diablo I is famously as much a horror game as an arpg. In this final run of images, I'm trying to lean more into that creepy element. The duo of characters has really taken on a life of its own. The question now is what world they inhabit and what antagonists they face. That still needs some development.
